So how would tracks like "Got the Life," "Blind" and "Freak on a Leash" sound unplugged? Well, different, of course ? but no less ominous, passionate or intimidating. This is a band that doesn't rock sitting down. This is a band whose members scream through entire live sets with such force that they can be heard over the 120 decibels they're known for pumping out onstage. But what's most important that they are still doing stuff, experimenting. I don't know, as I said, I was really sceptical when they first did AOL sessions, but I liked it. I know someone would post something like this. Wow, these fathers of nu-metal are now even deader to me. The CD is due in February, I don't know when it's gonna be broadcasted, but I'll post the info here. I'm so glad they're still open to a lot of new stuff. I expected Amy to be on Thoughtless, since Evanescence used to cover it, but this is good, too. I was sceptical back in spring when they did AOL Sessions, but I liked it. No David, though, and they were unclear as to why."ġ2. "The Cure were great, Amy Lee killed it and Jonathan was amazing. It was just like hanging out with some pals. "The band chatted it up all night with the fans and even broke out into a number of impromptu fun covers while sets were being changed. "They had a ton of different instruments and their typical backup band highlighted by Rob Patterson. "The show was amazing," Timothy Kutch tells. The band were joined by Evanescence lead singer Amy Lee for "Freak on a Leash" while The Cure also joined KoRn for "Make Me Bad".
